New year honour for Callander man Robert

Callander resident and former auditor general of Scotland Robert Black has been recognised for his work in public service was awarded a CBE in the new year honours list.

Robert recently announced his retirement as Auditor General for Scotland and served as chief executive for Stirling District Council from 1985-90.
