Callander bowler Gareth ready for Scottish finals

  • Gareth Crosbie from Callander MW bowling club kicks off his Scottish campaign at Northfield

UPDATE: Unfortunately Gareth lost his first-round match at Northfield, putting up a good fight before going down 21-15.

Callander Miners Welfare Society bowling club's young star Gareth Crosbie gets his bid for the Scottish title under way this week, as he travels to Northfield in Ayr for the finals.

Gareth will take on Steven Allan from Menstrie in the first round of the Junior Singles championship, with the first round match starting at 2.30pm on rink five of green C at the Ayr venue on Wednesday 28th July.
